Programs/Committees

Omega STEM:

Our STEM initiatives are designed to inspire students worldwide to embrace science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Talent Hunt Program:

This program provides exposure, encouragement, and financial assistance to talented young individuals in the performing arts, with recognition and potential college scholarships for winners.

Courtesy Comm/Brotherhood Connection Committee/Sick and Shut-in (Chaplain):

This committee is designed to support brothers who are sick, hospitalized, and to recognize significant milestones, anniversaries, and birthdays.

Voter Registration, Education & Mobilization:

Chapters actively engage in activities that uplift their communities through the power of the vote.

Hospitality Committee:

Focused on creating a welcoming environment, this committee plays a pivotal role in fostering brotherhood within our chapter.

Pan Hell/Wives & Sweetheart:

Responsible for coordinating events and activities for wives, significant others, Greek organizations, and sweethearts.

Charitable/501C3 Foundation, Fundraiser, Audit:

Collaborating with the 501C3 Foundation Chairman, this committee will work on establishing the Foundation and overseeing fundraising activities.

NAACP:

Each district and chapter is required to maintain a Life Membership at Large in the NAACP, with all members encouraged to join this significant organization.

Scholarship: 

The committee promotes academic excellence among undergraduate members and provides

IT/Social Media (Editor to the Oracle):

This committee will assist with Phi Nu Nu Chapter website updates, social media accounts, and any other IT-related tasks.

Social Action:

Chapters actively participate in various community upliftment activities, including voter registration, Assault on Illiteracy, Habitat for Humanity, mentoring, and fundraisers for charitable organizations.

Fatherhood and Mentoring:

Every level of the Fraternity is urged to actively engage in promoting the Fraternity’s Fatherhood Mentoring initiative, emphasizing the importance of mentorship.

Health Initiatives:

Chapters actively participate in activities promoting good health practices, including the Charles Drew Blood Drive and partnerships with organizations such as the American Diabetes Association.

Reclamation and Retention:

A concerted effort is made at the international, district, and local levels to retain active brothers and welcome back inactive brothers to full participatory status.

Memorial Service:

On March 12th of each year, chapters conduct a service to honor and remember members who have entered into Omega Chapter.

Bylaws/

Legislature (KRS):

Tasked with assisting in updating the Phi Nu Nu Chapter By-Laws at the direction of the KRS.

Epsilon Sigma Advisory:

This committee serves as an adviser to the Epsilon Sigma Undergraduate Chapter at Bowie State University.

College Endowment Fund:

Annually, the fraternity allocates a minimum of $50,000 to historically black colleges and universities. This contribution reflects Omega's commitment to providing philanthropic support.

Achievement Week:

Observed each November, Achievement Week aims to recognize individuals contributing to community uplift. Additionally, a High School Essay Contest will be held in conjunction with this initiative.
